Fire Doors can also be Fire check Doors, Fire Rated or Fire Resistant doors. Buildings may require Fire doors which can be in Oak, Pine, Hardwood, Walnut, Beech, pre finished and White finish. Fire Check doors with glass are available. Interior or internal fire rated doors can be certified for half hour fire resistance in accordance with FD30 BS 476 part 22 regulations or be tested above thirty minutes as in BS476 Part 22. The smaller the areas that a fire resistant door divides the lower the fire rating needed. Many fire check doors have internal windows that are also fire rated.
